Welcome to Dolphin Beach Cottage. If you are looking for a family and pet-friendly oceanfront cottage getaway, Dolphin Beach Cottage is the place for you! Located at the end of the arroyo in Sunset Beach State Park, this is a rustic and comfortable home with ocean views from nearly every room in the house! You can chose to read on the enclosed master deck or pack a picnic and take the private stairway directly from your house to the beach – the site-seeing and area attractions are endless.

This is a charming 2-story home is sized appropriately for one family that includes master bedroom, bunk room and semi-private sleeping nook off the living room. Dolphin Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and a hot tub located on private deck overlooking the Bay, and best yet - your canine pal can come too!

Dolphin Beach Cottage has a wraparound view of Sunset State Beach and it is just a two-minute stroll down a private path to the white sand and the waves. The upstairs oceanfront deck has a barbeque, outdoor fireplace & patio furniture. It overlooks the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary where many, many quests spot seals, dolphins and whales. The kitchen is equipped with gas stove, microwave, appliances, dishes & cooking items. The master bedroom, with a queen sized bed, has French doors that open onto a sheltered deck with sweeping views of the arroyo greenbelt, Cypress trees and Sunset Beach. The second bedroom (shares with utility room), also downstairs, has two built-in twin bunks and a double futon daybed. The small third bedroom off the living room has a twin-sized daybed, and the living room futons make up as 2 extra full-sized beds as well. There is plenty of sleeping arrangements for nice family gathering and still offers separation for quiet beachfront reading and sunbathing.

Conveniently located mid-way between the Monterey Peninsula and Santa Cruz, it is the perfect opportunity to explore both areas. In Monterey, be sure to visit Dennis the Menace Playground (printable flyer and map) , and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. 

In Santa Cruz, a must-see is the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, as well as nearby Roaring Camp Railroad in Felton.
